Mr. Anowar Hossain commands more than 18 years of experience in various strategic leadership and management positions in leading international humanitarian agencies. While serving at BRAC International as the Country Director in Afghanistan and the Regional Director for Asia, he planned and facilitated the implementation of the largest country program of BRAC International. He oversees and addresses the legal, technical, financial due diligence, compliance, and management issues of all areas of operating a large organization.
With over 28 years of experience at the Afghan Red Crescent Society, Mr. Taib currently holds the position of under secretary general at the organization. He is also a member of the South Asia Regional Disaster Response Team, Asia Pacific Fundraising Network Steering Group, Professional Humanitarian Assistance & Protection, South Asia Regional Organization Development working Group.
